Can men care for others, for themselves, for their environment or are they programmed to be competitive, aggressive and careless? What tools can help us change the program? How can we overcome resistance and move on to a new generation of caring men?
This training will give very concrete tools for teachers to explore with their students and colleagues gender, masculinities and violence. The goal being to de-construct old scripts and build new ways of coping with relationship’s challenges. They will be provided with presentations, unpacking basic concepts around sex, gender, intersectionality with important experts of the topic. They will also experience simple and easy to use games to work on these issues. Many theatrical tools will be presented, from role plays to image and forum theatre.
