What is the difference between a neutral policy and gender-based policy? How can we prevent new measures or legislative changes from creating discrimination between men and women? How can we contribute to the development of effective policies to constrast gender-based violence, starting from the origins of the problem rather than the consequences?
These are some of the questions we will be working on in the Workshop that will be held in Geneva within the international training “Training on Women’s Human Rights Advocacy” with participants from Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

The aim of the course is to strengthen the role and effectiveness of civil society in the work related to gender discriminations, at national and international level. The workshop of Parteciparte aims at making participants discover how to combine the Forum Theatre technique with the instrument of the CEDAW Convention for wider, incisive and effective political participation.
