Toxic/inappropriate behaviour, which is anything spanning from microaggressions and incivility to harassment, is a social phenomenon. If you know about it you are part of it and your reaction to it can affect the dynamics of a workplace. That’s why we are asked by ILO Geneva for bystander training in which forum theatre allows to learn: how to recognize, intervene and show empathy to survivors of sexual assault? How to deal with inappropriate behavior? What social and cultural factors may inhibit (or motivate) helping?

We will explore different ways in which bystanders can intervene, assessing the consequences for survivors, harassers and the entire team, assuming that when it comes to workplace culture, everyone is responsible for creating it, every day, in every interaction.
