Forum Theatre on worker’s rights
3 October 2019 - 30 November 2019
How can we search or create a job that we like? What are the important conditions to negotiate before accepting a job? Internships, seasonal jobs, on-call contracts … are they an opportunity or a form of exploitation? What alternatives can we find?
A cycle of theatre workshops to explore these questions and stage all the problems we face in the world of work. With simple forum theatre techniques we will train to face them together, trying out possible solutions, in the protected and amusing framework of theatrical fiction.
If you have ever done underpaid or underqualified jobs and you no longer want to accept them just because “it’s better than nothing”,
if you want to try to change these situations collectively,
and if you want to do it with a fun method,
we invite you to participate!
The workshops are free and open to boys and girls aged 18 to 30 years.
The appointment is at MaTeMù (Via Vittorio Amedeo II, metro Manzoni), every Thursday, from 16:00 to 19:00, starting from 3 October.
To participate, no theatrical experience is required, but reservations are required: http://bit.ly/lavori_in_corso
At the end of the workshops, the participants will take part in two performances held in Rome and Reggio Calabria.
